‘to communicate openly the scientific and medical rationale for the new pupil isolation guidance, which lacks the confidence of some school leaders and parents, the tracing and testing capacity to be implemented, and to set out how she will work to protect the safety of our school population, maximise in-school learning and ensure contingency arrangements are in place if attendance is not possible for periods of this academic year.

‘; and further calls on the Minister to introduce urgently a requirement for CO2 monitors in classrooms, allowing enforceable ventilation standards to be introduced, and reducing the likelihood of COVID-19 outbreaks in schools.’
